MNBC Work and Witness
MNBC is not a usual academic institution. This Bible College is the hub of Nazarene training in all of Papua New Guinea, and the only institution for training pastors in the country! What we do here has broad impact on church growth, quality of churches, and spiritual vitality in Papua New Guinea.

Building a dorm may not seem too glamorous until you realize how many future pastors will have a clean and safe place to stay while being trained for church planting and discipleship in the remotest places of PNG. Helping to build a conference center does not seem very exciting until you realize that all of the major decision for strategy of the church will be made in that very building! Digging a toilet block really pushes the limits of what "fun" means. But knowing that you are actually providing safe drinking water, sanitary waste removal, and modeling hygiene for hundreds and hundreds of men women and children training for rapid expansion of the Kingdom of God could help the shovel fly faster and the wheel barrow feel lighter!

"Work" at MNBC is empowering a school that otherwise has very little in the way of self-funding. Student education here costs about 3,000 Kina per year ($750 USD), and that is almost too much for them to pay! But these wonderful people are willing to risk everything in planting new churches and reaching out to the undiscipled in the name of Christ. Let's "work" to make that possible!

"...and Witness!" Although MNBC is in a rural setting there are three villages surrounding the campus. Because of the communal nature of work here, we sometimes do not know whose brother or father or cousin will actually show up for work the next day, so you will definitely come into contact with many pre-Christians. We would like you to make friends, build relationships, and make brothers and sisters in Christ while making a house or conference center! We praise God for how He has worked in the past, and we look forward to the impact your team will make on lives for eternity!
